"I Want You" was the 1976 hit for American soul Marvin Gaye. It was a title track of the album of the equivalent title. A song would late exist as covered by Madonna and British Trip hop group Massive Attack with Nellee Hooper as the producer.

Marvin Gaye version

A song was originally written by Motown songster Leon Ware and Diana Ross's younger brother Arthur "T-Boy" Ross. the song was originally meant for a solo album by Ware. Even so, each Motown boss Berry Gordy & Gaye heard the track and thought it would exist as ideal for Gaye.

Madonna version

About twenty years late, a song would become revised by pop star Madonna and British trip/hop duo Massive Attack in 1995, originally for a Gaye benefit album & later her ballads right-of, "Something to Remember".

A track was originally meant to exist as freed as a lone. Junior Vasquez performed some remixes & the streaming videos was processed by fashion lensman Earle Sebastian with Madonna wanting to call her lover however feeling neural. But, a benefit album which too featured Boyz II Men and Bono was released across a different record label & the album experienced failed to sell.

When VH1 played a streaming & it experienced reached #11 in their streaming videos chart, MTV got non played it & Warner Brothers weren't promoting a track to radio. Warner Brothers & Madonna's label Maverick Records decided to put out "You'll See" when a only by using a track & an orchestral version appearing on the album.

Other versions
Robert Palmer released a potpourri of "I Want You" & an additional Mavin Gaye song, "Mercy Mercy Me" in January, 1991. This individual reached #9 in the UK stock and index charts.
